Cooking at home has allowed me to be creative and free. It has gotten me through the pandemic and led me to rediscover my culture and identity. It has led me to this newsletter and a new career. More recently, it has led me back to my creative passions.
I had always wanted to make movies, or at least work on one — a lofty goal I’ve had since I was in high school. Amélie and The Grand Budapest Hotel became my entire personality when I was in college, and I made videos like I was Agatha making courtesan au chocolat.
